"Greek Gods" set of two ceramic vases 15 cm high, depicting four different scenes with Ancient Greek mythological characters - Signed - "IRIS" HAND MADE IN GREECE - beautiful ornamental pieces, scarce in South Africa. A welcome addition to your collection. The person that Signed these pieces either had Delirium Tremens, or too much Ouzo to drink, as both the signatures are smudged, and barely legible.

DIMENSIONS: Both Vases are identical: H 15 cm x W 10 cm x Rim 6 cm

DESCRIPTION: Two handmade ceramic vases depicting on the Blue vase:- Zeus (Jupiter); Hermes (Mercury); woman offering; Apollo (Apollo) & Daphne. Brown vase:- Artemis (Diana) with maid holding the hunt; Dionysus (Bacchus) and friends feasting. The Goddess Athena (Minerva) is on the neck of both vases. The vases have also been handpainted on the handles. Really beautifull pieces.

CONDITION: The condition is superb, with no chips, cracks or scratches.
