Glass is the perfect surface for controlled heat and Salton tempered glass is tough and hard wearing - shatter, scratch, scorch and naturally heat resistant.

Meals can be prepared and cooked when convenient and served many hours later when family or friends are ready to eat.

Food is maintained at a heat level just under cooking point to prevent overcooking and drying out, two main causes of food losing flavour.

The Salton double hotspot is perfect for coffee, gravy, soup, sauces etc., as it maintains a temperature 20 ºC above the rest of the HOTRAY to ensure that liquids are kept piping hot.

Salton glass Hotrays heat up quickly but lose heat slowly. Food will remain hot for up to an hour after switching off without inconvenience of the cord.

• For best results, use shallow slatt bottomed covered dishes.
• Meat should be slightly under done if it is to be kept on the hotray for longer than 15 minutes.
• Cover food with foil or a lid to prevent from drying out.
• The pilot light clearly indicates when power is on.
