I don't want to sound cliched but if there's only one Dali book to buy, this is the one. It begins from his student sketches to his cubism period to his surrealist classics and has just about every piece he's ever created, even the infamous Mae West portrait. Lots of pics of the insane great master, too! Bet you didn't know he was the influence behind Caesar Romero's interpretation of The Joker on the Batman TV Show in 1966.
