This ships bell was salvaged from the vessel Mundo Gas. It has a 20 cm diameter casing and is 20 cm tall. The clapper is missing. It has some damage from the period it was submerged.

On 22 October 1966, north of Grundkallen (Sweden), the gas carrier Mundogas Oslo collided with the Finish vessel Sara. Following the collision, the Mundogas Oslo listed heavily and, 4 hours after the collision, was partially submerged, with its stern resting on the seafloor. That day, visibility was reduced to 300 metres due to heavy fog. The gas carrier, with 30 crew members onboard, was transporting 2,000 tonnes of liquid ammonia.

Adverse weather conditions (formation of ice, fog) made salvage attempts difficult.

After three and a half months, the bow sank in waters 64 metres deep in the Gulf of Bothnia.

1963 Built as MUNDOGAS OSLO at Drammen Slip & Verksted, Drammen for A/S Gasskib (Øivind Lorentzen), Oslo. Launched 16/07, delivered in December.
1966 Collided 22/10 with finnish SS SARA and sank in shallow water 8 nm NV of Grunkallen in Åland Sea whilst on a voyage from Fredericia, Denmark to Nystad, Finland with ammonia.
The crew, 30 men and wifes of the Master and Chief Officer where taken up by German  M/V GROVERORT and later transferred to the Swedish cruiser  K.S. WALLENBERG and landed at Øregrund near Stockholm, Sweden.
1967
The wreck taken over by Assuranceforeningen Skuld, Oslo.
The wreck slipped out in deeper water about 06/04.
1969 The wreck sold to Pentti Parilla, Helsinki, Finland who would try raising her.
