Thursday evening.
Suddenly the noise of London's busiest station is drowned by the roar of jet engines. Seconds later a fully loaded plane crashes onto the crowded platforms.
Scores of people are killed in the initial impact. Others are trapped beneath tumbling masonry, twisted metal and gallons of burning fuel. In the desperate attempt to save lives, London's emergency services are stretched to their limits as they face the city's worst disaster since the Blitz.
