Samsung S22 5G Dual SIM Green (SM-S901E/DS)
Previous owner: Only one previous owner: elderly gentleman with disability, spoke on this S22 phone perhaps 30 minutes a month, often less.
Reason for sale: The above previous owner wanted to trade it in to buy an S24. The cellphone shop sold him an S24 that had already been registered to another owner (cellphone shop owners have apparently worked out how to reseal the box to make the phone look new) so he could not get the R10 000 trade in, and he is trying to recover the loss he experienced from being cheated by the cellphone shop.
Phone condition: Amazing condition as per photos, no cracks. Includes box and original unused SIM card ejection pin (aka SIM card tray removal needle) and USB cable. (Owner used wireless charging, so USB cable was never used, but the port was tested and works. The mic, speaker, screen, buttons, bluetooth, and wifi were all tested successfully.) The S22 is supplied without a charger. Battery appears in good condition, and the phone was used in battery protector mode for 99%+ of its life. A copy of the original Samsung Store/Hirchs invoice for the phone will be included to prove it is a genuine purchase, not a grey import. The case and screen protector the previous owner used have been removed to get the phone back in the original box.

Samsung March 2024 Trade In Special: If you want to use this phone for a trade in, you can. On the Samsung trade in website, click trade in, then Mobile, then type s22 (not IMEI), then select variant Samsung Galaxy S22 5G Enterprise Edition, then enter the IMEI of this device (which is also on the box). The value will show as R10 000 until end March 2024. Ensure that the S24 series phone you purchase has not been used as a trade in before. Ensure your supplier guarantees you that the S24 is new and the trade in can be done with the phone, and ensure they supply you with an invoice that has your new IMEI 1 on it so you can upload a copy to the trade in site. Enter your IMEI 1 number from the new S24 series phone on the trade in site. If you enter IMEI 2 or an IMEI 1 of a second-hand S24 that is already registered to another owner, the trade in will not work, you will get error Invalid New Device IMEI. Some stores offer an immediate R12000 discount and/or store credit on the S24 when you have an S22 to trade in, allowing you to avoid the website process, shop around.
Battery life: The S22 is not known for its long-lasting battery. While this phone was tested and can last around a day on a full charge (which is normal), if you are looking for a phone that has a battery that lasts multiple days, the S22 is not for you, especially if you want AOD (Always On Display). Consider a feature phone for very long battery life.
Delivery: We use the Bobshop recommended courier. They usually collect within 2 days and deliver within 3 days, but allow for 1-2 extra days because of Easter.
