I used the following to replace my wife's cracked screen:

• HEAT GUN: the glass screen is glued (laminated) to the LCD and the glue melts round 85`C
• THIN PLASTIC PEGS: guitar picks would do to wedge in and lift the glass as soon as the glue melts 
• 90% ALCOHOL &COTTON CLOTH (got at pharmacy): to clean excess glue of LCD
• take your time, don't rush :)

NOTE: This will only fix cracked GLASS if your phone LCD is still OK.

I will only replace this if you open this parcel at the Post Office or with courier and it is cracked/broken.
