This Samsung Wireless GamePad controller makes mobile gaming a lot easier than using the device's touchscreen which tends to be finicky in certain gaming situations. Works in pretty much all games downloaded from the Play Store, including mainstream titles I've personally played with this game controller, such as GTA San Andreas, Vice City, and Bully.

Also, this Samsung wireless phone gaming controller works and is compatible with any brand of phone and tablet. It connects via ordinary Bluetooth 3.0 or NFC. Probably not compatible with any Apple/iOS devices because, well... Apple. Though, I'm unable to test this as I don't own any Apple devices.
 
I've personally used this on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Note 5, Galaxy Tab S2, and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and it works flawlessly on both Bluetooth or NFC connection modes with ZERO latency!
