BLADE EDGE IS BLUNTED BUT DISPLAYS A BEAUTIFULL WAVYPATTERN.
WOODEN SHEATH PAINTED WITH A DARK BROWN LACQUER COATING.

A katana (the big sword) is a Japanese sword characterized by a curved, single-edged blade with a circular or squared guard and long grip to accommodate two hands. It was used by samurai (military noble officer cast of medieval Japan from the 12th to 19th century) in feudal Japan and worn with the blade facing upward. This allows for a single motion to unsheath and strike an opponent. When wearing a sword with the cutting edge down, the samurai warrior must draw his sword and then perform the striking motion.
