The Sangean ATS-404 is a great low priced portable shortwave receiver.   Most of the shortwave receivers we have ever tested are missing frequencies or have gaps on some shortwave bands. The ATS-404 covers all internationally broadcast shortwave frequencies, including the tropical bands.
