SANITARIUM - ADVENTURE HORROR GAME

You wake up, face bandaged, disoriented. You look around and to your horror discover you are in an institution. After a few discussions with your fellow patients, you begin to realize you're in a living nightmare. You're in an insane asylum. You don't remember your name, you can't see your face, you have no idea why you are here, and there is no one around who can answer your questions.

So begins the journey of your self awareness. You traverse 13 completely different levels (nine major episodes/four sub-segments) of Sanitarium to find the truth about what happened to you. You must discover your past and, in the process, you stumble across a horrifying sinister plot which seems to be unfolding at each step of the way as you search for your identity.

As your search continues, you encounter many people and locations, most of a decidedly freakish nature. Because of these encounters, snippets of your memories come cascading into your brain in the guise of movie-style flashbacks.

Sanitarium is a well paced, good story, set in an unsettlingly surreal environment with disturbing plot twists.
