SANSUI CELESTIAL TELESCOPE

This telescope has been listed as second hand, because it has been removed from the box, assembled and 'used' for two days after being in storage for some time. For all intents and purposes, though, it is brand new except for a minor mark or two and in perfect working condition. It is 100% complete and will be sent in its original box, including instructions for assembly and user manual. Please note that it is first and foremost a celestial telescope and will not work very well for checking out the girls on the beach, although it does have an eyepiece for this purpose! When viewing objects on land over great distances, there is almost always too much haziness due to moisture, dirt particles etc, to make a clear picture possible. Because this layer of haziness is mostly confined to the lowest part of the atmosphere, the view will be much clearer when the telescope is pointed upwards toward the stars.

The scope is well constructed, unlike some cheap Chinese models currently on the maket. The tripod legs are constructed  of aluminium rectangular tubing and has an adjustable sliding mechanism. The tripod feet features spikes for use outside on the lawn and can be adjusted for use on uneven terrain. Please see picture above for other specs.
