This is a vintage South African Police (SAP) or South West African Police (SWAPOL) Koevoet camouflage jacket, produced locally in South Africa around the early 1980s.
The jacket features a locally manufactured variant of the French lizard camouflage pattern, distinct from the SADFs standard brown nutria uniform. This uniform was primarily issued to highly specialized, plain-clothed, and counter-insurgency police units in South West Africa (now Namibia) during the Border War, most notably the Koevoet unit, as well as SAP Task Force units.
