SAPPHIRE (0,32 carats) AND DIAMOND "TRILOGY" YELLOW GOLD RING. VINTAGE LONDON!
This is rather an unusual piece of jewellery that will appeal to someone who likes really vintage jewellery. It features 16 very pretty blue sapphires with a total of 0,32 carats. The design of the ring presents three overlapping flowers. Most of the ring is yellow 9 carat gold and additional white gold has been used for decorative affect around the centre of each flower. The centre of the middle flower has a second layer of yellow gold in the middle to create additional raised relief. To add a bit of sparkle, there are three small diamond, one in the middle of each flower.
The hallmarks are not easy to distinguish due to the ring's age. I can make out the jeweller's mark, the indicators for British gold (375 for 9 carat), the date indicator for 1970 and the ring is from London. It has an unmistakable vintage look and feel with a particularly interesting decorative detail on the shoulder. All round a lovely piece of vintage England.
