This is an exceptionally well designed model in 1:87 HO Scale of the SAR/Spoornet Closed Wagon Type "O-LJ-5" for Palletized Fruit Crates. White livery fitted with new Kadee Couplers & Roller Bearing Bogies with Metal Wheels. Complete with SAR Lettering. Truly an extraordinary SAR Collectors Model. Designed by Master Craftsman Derick Stander and built by Model Builders Jan Gouws & Associates.  

SAR used to run full length trains of these Special Fruit Type Wagons to the Habours with Export Quality Apples, Oranges etc. White prototypes are still being used frequently on certain lines to South African Harbours carrying Palletized Boxed Oranges.
