Scalecraft models are manufactured to the highest standards.
This model is the first in a range of Scalecraft models depicting recent and current passenger rolling stock within South Africa. Scalecraft has developed this model from the ground up. This is not a Lima coach, nor a copy of a Lima coach.
You will notice that the underbody is complete including brake wheels, brake hangers, tanks and even steps. The model is also fitted with Scalecraft Commonwealth bogies, Kadee couplers and appropriate corridor ends.
All Scalecraft models within the Trans Karoo series are painted in Gulf Red and Quaker Grey to a consistent standard. The yellow stripe has been added to the Vapour Clarkson Steam Car. This means that if you purchase the Trans Karoo series from Scalecraft you will have a consistently detailed train.

The model can be supplied with 12mm or 16.5mm bogies.
Also remember that we supply a conversion kit to convert your existing Lima models to look similar to the one in this listing. The kit consists of an underbody including detailing, Commonwealth bogies, Kadee couplers and also corridor ends.
We also provide a service to do the upgrade for you. The existing Lima model is resprayed, new decals are applied and an underbody kit is installed.
This way your entire Trans Karoo set is brought up to spec.
