Scalecraft kits are manufactured to the highest standards. Parts are resin cast, laser cut, brass etched and decals are printed using our in-house facilities.

Some might say that resin kits are terrible.  Before you do please consider the following: our parts are cleaned, checked and prepared before shipment.

Our kits are being refined all the time.  Remember, we also build our own RTR models from the exact same kits.  And we, like you, don't like to struggle to build the kits. Tankers no longer have lots of little parts. There are only two major resin parts to put together.

The kit includes all resin parts, laser cut parts, decals and other bits n pieces.

The kits do not currently include bogies and couplers.  These can be purchased separately.  The reason for this is that some modelers run on 16.5mm track and others on 12mm, some prefer Kadee couplers and other European NEM couplers 

We can also supply you with paint (Thinners based Duco) matched to SAR colours.  This is the same paint that we use on our models.

 Scalecraft will replace any defective part for free provided that the part is returned to us.
