Double sided SOUTH AFRICA SAR SAS RAILWAY WHITES ONLY NET BLANKES & NON WHITES ONLY NET NIE BLANKES Apartheid era Train Station demarcation WOODEN DOUBLE SIDED SIGN BOARD in use between 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s.

An authentic Railway Apartheid race demarcation sign. Its wooden, probably 1960s or earlier before the State used Vinyl or metal punched signs. Has two sides, one for whites only and the other for non whites. To ensure that the two races never mixed in the train compartments but each compartment could be changed depending on the amount of which race group was traveling on the train and if an extra cart was needed and could be change to accommodate those passengers. NOT a REPRODUCTION! 100% original vintage historic South African item proving just how far we have come as a nation.

Sizes are: is 945mm long, 170mm high and 14mm thick.
