An authentic Railway Apartheid race demarcation sign. Its wooden, probably 1960s or earlier before the State used Vinyl or metal punched signs. Has two sides, one for whites only and the other for non whites. To ensure that the two races never mixed in the train compartments but each compartment could be changed depending on the amount of which race group was travelling on the train and if an extra cart was needed and could be change to accommodate those passengers. 100% original vintage. NOT a REPRODUCTION!
