SAR Trans Karoo (Shosholoza Meyl) DVD.  This movie follows the Shosholoza Meyl from Cape Town to JHB through some of the most stunning scenery passing several other trains headed in the opposite direction.  Made in 2009, it's fairly recent and was imported from the USA believe it or not due to not being available locally.
