Hop onto the conservation train by wearing this Save the Reed Frog badge.  Original design by local company Brave Badges on a 3.7 cm badge.  Great accessory on bags, jackets, scarves & hats.

The badge is mounted on a card with a QR code that leads to  the following Badge Blast:

Youve probably never heard of Martin Pickersgill (nor had we until recently!)  He was the herpetologist (someone who studies reptiles and amphibians) who discovered the Pickersgills Reed Frog (Hyperolius pickersgilli) in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa in 1978. These tiny frogs are less than 3 cm long. Males and juveniles are usually brown, while females sport an amazing light brilliant green. Theyre insectivores, munching on flies and mosquitoes. Incredibly, they are only found in an area of about 9 km2 located near Durban in South Africa.  As a result, they are listed as Critically endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. Habitat decline and fragmentation are major threats to their survival.

Thats why its important to spread the word and get people talking about how we can help save these little guys.  Wearing a Save the Reed Frog badge can be just the conversation starter you need. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that Pickersgills Reed Frog sticks around for generations to come. You can also support conservation efforts, raise awareness in your community, participate in conservation programs, and even report sightings if you happen to spot one of these frogs.  So, wear that badge proudly and lets get talking about saving these amazing creatures!
