A landmark work by the recently deceased photographer, Cloete Breytenbach (brother of the poet Breyten Breytenbach and Col. Jan Breytenbach of 32 Battalion). Cloete was famous for being the only photogrpaher to mark Dr Chris Barnrad's first heart transplant in 1967. Other notable subjects included the forced removals of Ditrict Six (which culminated in his book "the Spirit of District Six" which has been reprinted), and conflict across Africa incluing Angola, Congo and the former Rhodesia. "Savimbi's Angola" charts his visit to the country from 1976 to 1981.
