Scalecraft SAR (South African Railways) C-34, D-37, E-16, H-24 Gulf Red / Quaker Grey

About the set:

The C-34, D-37, E-16 & H-24 were widely used in South Africa before the C-36 type (Common Trans Karoo body type) became mainstream. Our models were created from the ground up and are not butchered Lima Frankenstein's Monsters. If you look carefully you will notice that the window shapes are correct for this carriage type, the windows are larger and also more square than the C-36. Another thing to note is that the body is a little bit shorter than the lima C-36 (Which is of course correct considering that the real coaches were a bit shorter) The roof is also not a butcher job, we designed the roof and laid out the vents using a 3D modelling tool. We have been informed that this type of coach may also have run on Day or Commonwealth bogies - it's your choice, we can fit whichever bogies you prefer.

The models will be available in Imperial Brown, Gulf Red / Quaker Grey and also in Union Limited Blue/Grey.
