The in-car microprocessor module allows the conversion of a standard Scalextric car to work on Scalextric Digital layouts. C7005 Chip A is designed to fit most . Some F1 cars chassis produced between 2004 and 2007 have mounting points for this specific chip. Most Scalextric cars, from 1957 to current date, can be converted to digital operation.
