This Scalextric motor mounting kit provides what you need to convert an old SCX RX4 motor to a more modern and faster Mabuchi motor. These kits were used to convert for example Spanish Porsche 959's to UK Scalextric Porsche 959'5 (see the photographs in this listing - for illustration purposes only), but can be used for any older SCX saloon and F1 car. The kit includes ONLY the pinion extender and the front and rear motor mounts.

The Morgan Park Collection and Raceway has to fund itself, and therefore every car or lot that I list 'owes'me a certain amount of money (purchase price, spares, decals etc.). I therefore always list items for what they owe me, and then let the bidders decide what the actual value is, on the principle that everything is only worth what someone else is prepared to pay for it. HOWEVER, DUE TO THE UNFORTUNATE DECREASE IN THE VALUE OF THE RAND COMPARED TO THE UK POUND, I HAVE HAD TO INCREASE THE STARTING BID OF MY SLOT CAR ITEMS BY R50
Despite this increase, my items still generally start at VERY reasonable prices, and it would therefore not make good business sense to sell items for less than they cost me to buy and prepare for resale. Therefore, please don't ask what the minimum price is that I would accept for a car or a lot, because the minimum price is indicated in the starting price. I also no longer entertain offers on my items.
