Scalextric Variable Powerbase with hand throttles

This auction is for a Scalextric variable powerbase track with 4 hand throttles. This very rare piece of 'Classic' Scalextric track features an auto-reverse function that allows you to change the direction of running on the track with the flip of a switch, as well as a dynamic braking function (actively slowing the cars down when the throttle trigger is released) which can also be switched on or off as desired - see the picture below for more detail.  

This powerbase is ideal for older 'Classic' track lay-outs using the older transformers and throttles that plug directly into the bottom of the track rather than into a powerbase. The hand throttles are all the older mono-jack units for use with the first generation powerbase tracks, and are NOT suitable for the more modern powerbase tracks requiring stereo jacks.
