The SCANTEQ MD8 Hand-Held Metal Detector are self calibrating and uses digital microprocessor technology that eliminates the need for periodic sensitivity adjustments. The unit consist of a rugged, high impact case with reinforced coil compartments and a large scan surface for quick thorough scanning. The alarm can be set to either be audible or as a vibration when metals are detected. It is powered by a standard rechargeable 9V battery and comes complete with charger and belt clip.
