Scarce Royal Doulton 'Sergeant Buzfuz' Dickens Ware Tray (D2973)

This scarce, antique, Royal Doulton tray from the 'Dickens Ware' series, is from the earliest of the three colourways which was produced between 1908 and 1931, with the white background and features the scarce 'Serjeant Buzfuz', a character from one of Charles Dickens novels 'The Pickwick Papers'. This lovely, collectable piece is in excellent condition and other than being a scarce colourway, and a rare character, it's also on a shape seldom seen. The tray measures 30cm x 18,5cm with a height of 2,5cm and carries the 'Royal Doulton Dickens' backstamp along with the pattern number 'D2973' on the back.
