Scarce S. African 1937 'Coronation/Union is Strength' Souvenir Programme
This early, 1937, South African souvenir programme titled 'CORONATION' was about a 'show or play' put together by Durban ex-service Men and Women at the Durban City Hall on the 15th of May 1937. The show called 'The Coronation Revue' 'Smiles a Million' was produced in celebration of the Coronation of Their Majesties King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. It features a large cap badge on the front cover of the 'S.A. General Service' with the words 'UNION IS STRENGTH - EENDRACHT MAAKT MACHT'. The programme consists of 60 pages and other than a little discolouration to the front cover it's in great condition and measures 21,5cm x 14cm.
