scarce SADF era pattern 80 "donkey brown" ripstop canvas Medium utility pouch (new)

Here on auction we have a scarce SADF era pattern 80 "donkey brown" ripstop canvas Medium utility pouch in very good almost unused NEW condition. This pouch is sized to accomadate SADF issue dixies (mess tins). This pouch closes using the turn-button clips (see pics) - silent openeing and closing.

These "donkey brown" pattern 80 style kit was issued in limited numbers to some SWASPS units and SA Army Para troops and Pathfinders in the early 1980's and was not very popular and later discontinued and replaced by the patt 83 nylon kit.

Pattern 80 pouches in any condition are pretty scarce - includes two US style ALICE clips in great condition, no damage.
