Scarce 'US Marine Corps' Field/Backpack with Metal Frame (WW1/Korean War)

This scarce, early, 'US Marine Corps' heavy duty, green canvas field pack or backpack with metal frame, webbing and padded straps is part of a small collection of privately owned webbing that I'm listing, which was issued to a US Marine Corps soldier (Hill M.W.K). The canvas lid flap has the emblem of the US Marine Corps in black, with the soldier's name and army number written in black on the inside of the same flap (109027 Hill M.W.K). The backpack metal frame has been slightly customised with some foam padding added for comfort. Other than one of the bag straps (not frame) being damaged, the rest is in an excellent used condition.
