Scarce Vintage 'Poole Pottery' Rowing Boat Ashtray 

This attractive, scarce, light blue and grey 'Poole Pottery' ashtray, in the form of a rowing boat in waves, is attributed to a John Adams design and assumed to be modelled by Harry Brown in the 1930's. It has on the base, the impressed 'POOLE ENGLAND' mark with an incised '542' shape number and a glaze number 'C83'. This lovely piece is in excellent condition and measures 18cm x 7,7cm with a height of 7cm and weighs 385g.
