A) Scarne's Encyclopedia of Games by John Scarne - 1983, hard to find. ISBN 0 09 459520 8, hardcover with dust jacket .
Book info: The most complete, most authoritative reference book on games available. Just about every game you can think of - in all, more than 1000 games and their variations - is described. Game rules and easy-to-follow instructions, and hundreds of play-to-win tips from John Scarne, the famous authority on games and gambling.
Condition: Dust jacket is frayed and has some holes in it and has preserved the books actual cover well. The book has minimal notes mainly highlights and here and page 284 a paragraph has been neatly taped up due to 2 punctures from something sharp but fortunately the text did not get damaged and it is nice and neat. Binding split at page 284 - 285, might need to be taped with further use otherwise the book is sound and full of important info for anyone interested in gaming. Pages 628 pages inclusive of index.
