Kanna has been used as a mind-altering substance for many, many centuries in many tribes, especially from South Africa, though the earliest recorded use of the Kanna plant dates back to the 17th century. Kanna curbs anxiety and tension, and elevates the user’s mood to a much less stressful state, and in larger doses a state of euphoria can be attained..

The Kanna plant can be chewed after a fermentation process, and has also been known to be made into teas and tinctures. It can also be smoked with the addition of other herbs, but is available here in seed form. You'll have to grow the plants, which is easy when following our growing & harvesting instructions.  In large doses Kanna can be intoxicating, but the plant is not hallucinogenic and no severe or adverse side effects are associated with it according to known documentation.
