This is an album that strikes you with a unique yet excellent contribution to its genre, and which does not fit into a box or category, as if it was necessary to fit or Fit-in?

Coming from a point of view where I side with not wanting to fit in - rather to stretch the imagination, the conversation, the company to new territory, with new vocabulary, sentences and so on, eventually ending up with an altogether new story! (As opposed to the same old...)

This is a perspective which I personally understand well - and I need say no more about Schalk's debut solo album: except that it is also a geographically, culturally-infused piece. And that it troubled me to see I was the first to review or comment.
