Hardcover with dust jacket. Solidly bound and clean inside except for foxing to end pages. Third edition published in 1954 with 303 pages and b/w photographs. Green boards with gilt lettering to spine. D/j shelf-rubbed, small tears to top and chaffed at top front corner. Overall a good copy. The author has taken much trouble to connect the scientific descriptions of the various fishes with the local names, and to explain these names and their pronunciation to English readers. The photographs are excellent and the maps most useful. A collectable copy. No shipping overseas
