Boards somewhat faded with light foxing. Lower rear corner lightly bumped. Silver lettering on spine bright and intact.

Light foxing and tanning of endpapers, front and rear. Heavy foxing of prelims, introductory and final pages. On the whole text is clean with foxing limited to edges of text block, occasionally extended onto the margins.

Binding tight, text complete, no missing or loose pages, no tears. No inscriptions, no underlining or highlighting, no marginalia.

Unclipped jacket in good condition. Small closed tears and creasing along the edges with very minor chipping at head and heel of spine and hinges. Foxed on inside; outside the rear panel is shelf-worn and age-tanned; small brown stain; front panel somewhat shelf-worn but still reasonably clean and bright.
