Accurately centering the seal and the crank can minimize the possibility of seal leakage. If you are installing the rear main seal/cover, this is a good time to install one of our billet oil diverter barbells, which can prevent unfiltered oil from entering the bearings, tappets and improve oil flow. It is very easy to install, which can greatly extend the service life of the engine.
