The wine, noted for its consistent style and quality, is a blend of selected varietals. The red hue of the Boland mountains at sunset inspired the name, Roodeberg, literally meaning 'red mountain'. Area: A wine from the Western Cape. Vinification: Roodeberg is the result of skilful blending of red grape varieties and slow maturation in oak casks. Description: A medium-bodied wine with a red ruby colour. Fresh and vibrant with layers of summer berry flavours complemented by hints of chocolate and spicy vanilla oak. Serving: Pasta with meat sauce, grilled vegetables, game birds, Osso Bucco. Serve at room temperature. 14.0 % volume and contains sulphites. Certified by the Wine and Spirit Board (433554 - 3743).
