Sediment 5 micron and Activated Carbon Block Filters

Filter 1: The Polypropylene 5 Micron filter is normally your first filter in a water purifier. Some people like to refer to it as the sediment filter. It helps to protect the rest of your filters and removes all the sediment that you can see for example: sand, worms, leaves, rust, dirt, ect. This filter is useful when sediment is found in your pipe system and will filter out the bigger particles.

This water filter would be the good choice for filtration systems that has more then one filter. With the pores being 5 micron in size it wouldn't clog up that easily and so doesn't restrict the flow rate of your water.

It is recommended to replace this filter every 10 - 12 months

Filter 2:  The Activated Carbon Block filter 1 is Micron in size. It removes sediment, chlorine lime and other harmful chemicals. This filter helps to improve taste, smell and color of water. After water has passed through this filter it is softer and less likely to form scale. It is recommended to replace this filter every 10 - 12 months.
