This August 1988 'Arnie' had a single owner from new, purchased in 1989 and used as a dive watch for many years. All functions work correctly, even the backlight on the LCD. The pushers and crown feel a little gummy, probably needing a clean and new gaskets. These later Arnie's have double gaskets on the pushers, a previous weak point. I've replaced the battery with a high quality Swiss battery and checked for evidence of any battery related damage, other than needing a clean the quartz movement looks good.

The original shroud is cracked but held in place by the screws, I've worn it a handful of times like this and think it suits the watch. Aftermarket shrouds are available for around $35.

These Arnie's were not only the personal watch of choice for Arnie during the 80's, featuring in a number of his movies, they also featured on James Bond's wrist, worn by Roger Moore in A View to Kill. There have been a few re-issues of this watch but nothing beats the original.
