Seiko SKX007

Aaaaah, the iconic SKX! What more is there to say? If you're a watch collector or enthusiast, your collection isn't complete without an SKX! These have skyrocketed in price since they've been discontinued in 2018 and the replacement Seiko 5 (nicknamed the 5KX) simply doesn't compare to this immensely popular watch. The newer watch doesn't have a screw down crown, nor is it ISO certified down to 200m as this older SKX is. An authentic SKX in any condition (especially the 007 version as here) easily trades for over $300 in the international market, but here you have the opportunity to own one for a fair price, without the hassle of scouring international auction sites for one and have to deal with the hassle of shipping it to South Africa.

This piece (as with all the pieces I sell that's older than 5 years) has been professionally serviced. This is a September 2007 watch and is supplied with a brand new Z22 Seiko rubber strap. As you'll see in the attached pics, this is an honest piece that hasn't been polished - although I suspect the black bezel insert has been replaced before. The excellent timegrapher results are in the pictures above and shows a happy, healthy movement that'll be good for many years still. These results were taken at the time of this auction going live.
