The Ventura asymetrical is powered by kinetic energy, incorporating a power reserve capacitor, which stores the kinetic energy generated by the wearer's arm. The charge in the capacitor when fully charged, is enough to power the Ventura for a period of 3-6 months. No battery change is ever needed. The 5M62 movement also features a quick start function and a push button power reserve indicator to allow the user to see how much power is available in the capacitor. An energy depletion forewarning function allows the second hand to move in two second intervals, warning the user that power is becoming low, while still keeping time accurately.

The Ventura has a full stainless steel construction with a water resistance rating of 100m/10 bar. Scratch resistant 'Hardlex' crystal is used for the glass and 'Lumibrite' luminous material on the hands and dial markers ensure excellent low light visibility. A date window is situated at the 3 o'clock position on the two toned metallic tan dial. The bracelet features a deployment clasp with secure lock.
