SELCO infrared strip barrier beams can be used indoors or outdoors and are avilable in various beam configurations, in height, number of beams as well as range. The principle of the infrared barrier beam is that interrupting any two adjacent beams for a period of 40 milliseconds will result in an alarm condition when the alarm system is armed.
They provide ideal protection across garden perimeters, gates, sliding doors, windows, balconies, roller doors,skylights, shop fronts, ceilings and many other areas.
Installation is quick and simple due to the beam's ability to rotate 180 degrees and a buzzer and led light to aid in beam pair alignment.
