1 x vial of semi hardwood rooting hormone
Please take note of the size in the second picture. The vial is slightly shorter than a matchbox and has at least 2.5ml (2.5 millilitres) of rooting hormone, though I tried my best to get to 3ml
Semi hardwood rooting hormone is to be used on cuttings that are semi hardwood. So if you are rooting up lavender, rosemary, older mint/tarragon/thyme stems, artemisia, fuchsia, rose, viburnum, buxus etc. All those cuttings with semi woody nature. In theory all cuttings can root without rooting hormone if you wait long enough but rooting hormone speeds the process up. You can use this hormone on any woodiness of cutting, though it's more of a general recommendation to use it on semi-woody cuttings. This hormone has the same chemical found in hardwood rooting hormone, although at a different concentration.
