Condition: Good. Boards bright and clean--very light rubbing to the foot of the spine, a couple of superficial indentations to the rear panel and the foot of the boards. Light, limited foxing to edges of text block. Dampstain to lower inner edge of last eight leaves. Water-stain to lower edge of rear endpapers across the hinge. Apart from this defect the text block is clean and crisp: no inscriptions, no underlining or hightlighting, no annotations or marginalia. Binding is secure, text is complete: no loose, missing, or torn pages.

Jacket Condition: Fair. Water stain to head of jacket spine. 15mm closed tear to head of jacket spine at the rear hinge. Faint dampstain to lower third of  rear panel. Top edge of the jacket heavily foxed and age-toned on inside. Large water-stain across the lower third of the jacket on the inside. This stain is only faintly visible on the outside of the jacket--which is otherwise in good condition: no edgewear, not shelf-rubbed or faded.
