Serano Chilli Seeds

Serano (Serrano) Chilli is great for sauces, salsas and to add to dishes for a bit of zing.A serrano at 10,000 23,000 Scoville heat units can be surprisingly hotter than a jalapeño (2,500 8,000 SHU).

In fact, the hottest serrano can be 9 times hotter than the mildest jalapeño pepper. But on average you are likely looking at a 3-time difference in heat.Germination temperatures between 20 and 35 degrees. Can be grown indoors or in a sheltered environment year round if temperatures are kept above 15 degrees.

Seeds germinate better after soaking in purified water for at least 24 hours.

Minimum 30 seeds per packet.All seeds are tested and grown on our farm in Malawi and our growing area in South Africa. Please check conditions in your area for the type of seed to be grown.
