Set of 10 GUZZINI Dinner Plate Rests.

The picture shows a dinner plate on one of the plate rests.       As it is of a transparent material it is not easy to photograph.

As you no doubt know that Guzzini products are of a very high quality, and it always makes a statement when used.

The rest is 310mm diameter  and on either side there are  chrome plated metal inserts to make the plate more stable and give it some weight.     In the recessed portion it has a ribbed design, perhaps to increase the friction between it and the plate.

These items come from a family who used to have very tasteful and popular lunches.   The wife is a cordon-bleu cook.      

Each plate rest weighs 377 grams.       The material with which the rest is made is 4 to 5 mm thick, so is quite substantial.

These items look new and there are no breaks or chips.     The price of these items in the US when new is about $20.00 each.
