Set of 12 large Victorian bone handled knives - silver collars (b)

A set of Victorian bone (these are iv_ry) handled table knives with silver collars for Mappin Brothers of Sheffield in 1892. The knives measure a good old fashioned 26.5cm. They have carbon steel blades that I have had repolished. There is some wear to these knives. A few minor marks on the blades and two of the blades have substantial wear to them. These could be shortened and re cut. Four of the knives show marks on the handles, four have some discoloration from age and use, four have cracks to the back and one to the side. The knives are monogramed MAL. Still a useful set.
