A set of three small Susie Cooper saucers, probably originally meant for coffee cups. They are quite dainty and given that they are a bit deep, they can easily be used for nut dishes. Each features a central pink rose and a beautiful graduating turquoise or greenish light blue colour going to the rim. The back stamp was in use from 1932 to 1964 so it is a bit hard to date these exactly, although they are likely to be older.
The saucers measure about 11.2 cm across and are about 1.8 cm high.
They are in good condition with no chips or cracks, but one of them does have heavy glaze cracks on both sides. All three have various amounts of scratches or small bits of colour loss on the turquoise parts, as well as the usual three stilt marks at the back.
Postage for all three will be R50 through SAPO. Combinations with other pieces of porcelain welcomed.
